Welcome to ISALSaRS’24

The 7th International Symposium on Light Scattering and Remote Sensing (ISALSaRS’23) will be held in Donghai Laboratory, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang, China during May 13-16, 2024. To exchange and share the latest research and enhance international collaboration, ISALSaRS’23 will follow the history of this symposium but focus more on the sensing of ocean.

Zhoushan, a beautiful archipelago city at the Yangtze River mouth to China’s east sea, full of scenery, history, and seafood. The famous Putuo Temple is in the city. The organizing committee welcomes scientists around the world to exchange their research results and discuss the future of this research field during the best season of the islands.

3. Booth, title selection principle

● The selection principle is based on the time when the agreement is officially signed with the General Assembly. After the agreement is signed, please complete the payment within 10 working days. If the payment is overdue, it will be deemed abandoned.

● Select the booth according to the order of the sponsorship amount. If the sponsorship amount is the same, it will be first-come, first-served;

● In order to ensure that satisfactory exhibition location and forum time can be selected, please contact the investment manager or secretariat as soon as possible, and sign the exhibition agreement and handle the remittance;

● Relevant instruments, equipment, publications and other exhibits need to be approved by the conference.

4. Cancel, change policy

If the exhibitor cancels the booth due to special reasons, he/she shall submit an application in writing to the Secretariat of Investment Promotion of the conference. Cancellation through other forms will not be accepted. Refund policy is as follows:

- 50% of the amount will be refunded before April 26, 2024 (inclusive);

- No refunds after 27 April 2024.

5. Disclaimer

According to international practice, if the conference is forced to postpone or cancel due to irresistible reasons, including but not limited to earthquake, flood, damage to the exhibition hall, etc., the organizing committee of the Conference has the right to reserve part of the exhibition amount for the expenses incurred in the preparatory work.

6. Legal responsibility

The advertisements published by exhibitors in any publication of the Conference must comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China on advertising. If an advertisement is published illegally, the organizing committee will report it to the relevant regulatory authority, which will deal with it, and the Organizing Committee reserves the right to take further action.

Exhibitors should ensure that other activities before and after the conference will not affect the conference.

Exhibitors can only carry out activities in their own booth, and under no circumstances can occupy the aisles or other parts of the exhibition area.

Exhibitors are responsible for their own safety and the products in the booth, and the organizer or venue will not be liable.

Exhibitors must ensure the cleanliness of the booth when entering and leaving.

7. Instructions for Exhibitors

The conference will be distributed to the main person in charge of the participating manufacturers in April 2024.

8. Damage

The Exhibitor shall bear the costs of repairing the premises or replacing any damage or destruction, whether caused by the Exhibitor itself, its agents, the contracting entities or by any person or persons engaged by or acting on behalf of such agents or contracting entities.

9. Sublet a booth

Without approval, exhibitors are not allowed to sublet their booths to other units. If not the same unit, a booth may not be shared with others.

10. Fire regulations

All exhibitors must follow the following fire regulations. For exhibitors who do not implement the regulations, the fire protection unit will have the right to remove their booth and impose a certain amount of fines. The materials in the booth must be non-flammable and explosive materials. The distance between the booth and the interior wall of the exhibition hall shall not be less than 0.6 meters. No flammable materials such as gasoline or alcohol are allowed in the booth. High voltage and electronic high heat items, such as high pressure, mercury lamps and electric irons, are not allowed in the booth. Smoking is not allowed in the exhibition hall.
